I. Rolling Bookbags
Yeah, yeah, I know the potential damage a conventional bookbag can do to a young person's spine, but seeing them being hauled around on a university campus seems beyond ridiculous. Do you realize you look like a 4 year old in the airport? Not only that, but getting stuck behind 2-3 idiots toting these around evokes an unprecedented level of frustration. For a while, these idiot conveyences were like polar bears to me; I knew they existed, sure, but I'd never seen one in real life. Now that I have moved, it seems they're everywhere. This is the one way I think Junior High School socialization gets it right. If I'd had one of these in Junior High, I would have gotten the shit beaten out of me, or at least been verbally abused to a point where I'd never lug one again. If only people in our universities could do the same...
